EGR valve correct ? TD7043137 00352 on 75 L82 automatic

1975 Judging guide 2nd edition page 65 calls for a EGR valve on a 75 L82 auto 7047065 NP
my 75 has TD7043137 00352 i read that 00352 to mean julian 3rd day 1975 2nd shift
so the date makes sense for a 3/31/75 build car but I can not find TD7043137 anywhere

How about a bit of direction very very few thing have been changed since this car was new

Sounds like the judging manual is wrong on this one. The OEM valve on your L82 automatic should have been the #7043137. The #7047065 was used on 1973-74 L82 automatic.

The original EGR valve on my '75 L-82/M21 has the part number 7043137 and a date code same as yours, 00352, January 3 1975.

Build date on my car is F20 March 20, 11 days before your car.

My P & A catalog from Mar 1979 lists the #7043137 EGR as production and service replacement as #17052670

Our 75-77 TIMJG revision team has found a number of omissions from the EGR table including the TD EGR from 75. We also look at the assignment EGR part numbers and their sequence because their is a pattern to both numbers and broadcast codes. We also reference back to buildsheets that confirm part broadcast codes to the parts. Lots of cross-referencing. I might add that recently, we tracked down a 77 L82 four-speed EGR number. Guy who posted above is a serving on the revision workgroup.

Here is the current status of the table...JL may be able to confirm numbers and use.

I got to think about your 75 and checked back at those photos you posted when asking about the jack date code. We surveyed our 75 owners about the ignition shield cover and whether their cover has the cutout or not. What say you? I asked because Guy (VIN 19659) does not have it while we know VIN 26190, we begin to see the cutouts. Your 75s VIN would be another data point in that range, thus the curiosity.
