    Advice on fender bonding seams

I have a '66 L-72 barn find that I'd like to restore. I see a problem with the bonding seams on the front fenders (inside hood -top of wheel wells). The seams have de-laminated and someone has used pop rivets to hold them together with some unidentified adhesive that clearly made a mess. I need to clean up this area, fill the rivet holes and re-attach with the proper adhesive. My question is what should I use and any tricks on how to do this??

    Many thanks!

There is Evercoat bonding adhesive specific for this purpose.

As Gene suggests, I have had good results with Evercoat "Vette Panel Adhesive/Filler" product code 100870 supplied in a 3 lb. can. Should be available at any auto. paint supplier.
