    Speaker grill color sheen

What is the correct sheen of black paint for the speaker grill in a 67?
What is the best paint for this purpose?
    Thanks

    Tim,
    I used SEM's trim black.
It matched perfectly. My dash and speaker grill were original so they probably had faded some, but I don't think very much.
If you want a photo just ask, but they don't as a rule show the subtle variations in shade.
    Kind regards

      Re: Speaker grill color sheen

Back in the seventies I got the Ditzler paint codes for the three shades of interior red in my SWC. Actually all three were the same shade, but had different levels of flattener to yield gloss, semigloss, and flat. I assume the same three gloss levels applied to other interior colors.

The windshield lower garnish molding and speaker grille are flat.
