I found this paint that was reccomended by our NCRS paint guru. It is $900 per gallon. Is there a better source? thanks Ronnie

Try pricing red paint. It is more expensive.Terry- Top

Doing a body, strip, fill, sanding, straighten, epoxy, prime, seal, sand, finish sand, cut/buff, with repaint the cost of the finish paint is one of your least worries.
I can suggest single stage to cut $$$$ a little bit and not have the bc/cc look.- Top

May I add to what Patrick suggests. There is likely original paint behind the door panels that will not have been subjected to the elements and might provide the best match.
I can speak from experience when I say that matching white is tough. Took several attempts to get my 70 close. One of the reasons is that GM used 55 gallon drums of paint and in the case of classic white there are just traces of blue and other tints that are quite minute when mixing just a gallon of paint.
I want to say it took about 10 spray cards to get it close on my 70.
Have fun

Bill, I know exactly what you mean James and I think did at least that many matching up my light copper metallic (gold) 73 Camaro. Paint is not cheap.- Top
