    Re: Loss of Joe Perri

Absolutely shocked to hear this news. Joe was a great guy, true to his word, honest and an excellent restorer. We probably started working with Joe 12+ years ago on various rebuilds. Since then we became friends through business. Really, really sad. Condolences to his family.

    Best,
    Dave

RIP Joe! A wonderful friend and industry expert. Wow is this sad! My brother and I have been friends and customers since we were teenagers. Seeing Joe at the shows and especially Carlisle was a highlight for us. A consummate professional with superb product and customer service. Just last week we gave his name out. He was one of the good guys who loved that David and I were young and well engaged in the details. RIP.

Sad to hear of Joe passing away. Dan Martin left a message on my answering machine yesterday telling me the sad news. God Bless Joe and his family. May he Rest In Peace.

RIP Joe!!!! He was simply great to deal with and a craftsman of his trade. He did my original horns last year and they are perfect. Talked to him quite a bit at Carlisle. What a loss......

I am in France on my way to LeMans next week to cheer team Corvette on to victory and decided to open the NCRS TDB page for updates and I am truly saddened by this. What a loss to us all. Not only did he do all the goodies for all my cars, he was a real good guy. A mensch as we like to say. My deepest condolences to his family. He will be sorely missed.

In all my years of dealing with a multitude of vendors I have never had dealings with a more competent and fair vendor. What a gentleman. His knowledge of all the details of these parts and his ability to deal with people in such a down to earth way was second to none. Condolences to all his friends and family. RIP Joe

I visited with Joe at Carlisle every year and had some great conversations. He will be missed. My sympathy to his family. As said before, a great guy who will be missed.

                      Re: Loss of Joe Perri

I contacted Joe when I found out I bought a 66 he had restored in the early 90s. We became friends and talked a lot about the car. He was always there to help with anything or would call to ask about me health. He came down to Bloomington in 16 to see his old car. He wanted a pic of it with him to bring home. Joe told me this car meant the most to him as he said it got him off the couch when he lost his wife and helped keep his mind off of it. Joe is a great guy and will be missed. Now I feel lucky to have it

I met Joe at Corvette Carlisle and bought several nice pieces from him. He was always great to talk to and very willing to share his knowledge about these cars. He will be missed.

VERY, VERY sad news. First, we lost Joe Ciaravino suddenly. Now, we've lost Joe Perri suddenly. I hope this is not a harbinger for Corvette guys that are Italians named Joe. They say it comes in threes.

Very sad to hear about Joe's sudden passing. Although I didn't personally know Joe, he was one of the better individuals that I've been fortunate to have worked on restoration parts for my '65 and '71. I had contacted Joe less than two weeks ago about restoring my original '71s fuel cap and actually talked to him a few days before his passing. In my last conversation with him, he indicated that my fuel cap was in the mail and I should be receiving it in a couple of days. I received my fuel cap, the same day that Joe passed. Sadly, tt may be the very last fuel cap that Joe restored . . . . .
