Dose anyone have pictures of how the ends of the weatherstrip are on the top cover. How the end of the weatherstrip and stainless U shaped protector are on a original car. Top rear of door.

Thanks David . I have noticed on some cars the push in retainer at the end of the weatherstrip at the very top of the door is not there.Like your car . I wonder if this is something that was not on the late cars????

Dan a few more pictures from a late car showing the retainer v clip and push in retainers.
They look like they are not all iv the exact some spot but are still there

Thanks .The one in the picture of the white door has a retainer at the very top . It is show in the A/M. But both the cars you had pictures of do not have the retainers??? Thanks for your time

Hi Dan I believe that the button on the white car was added after the fact. Weather strip was removed to repaint the door. The v clip was misplace or lost. Easy to but the push in button to keep the W/S in place.
White paint on the door screws indicates to me W/S was removed and everything was painted.
Then W/S was installed.
