Hi all,
I was planning on having my 1957 Corvette at SC this summer and restored back to how it raced in the mid-1960s. I am trying to get insurance on the car from Hagerty contingent that the car will not really be used for racing.
BUUUUT... It seems that, in Virginia, I could still race the car despite the exclusion and still get paid if I made a claim! In other words, Virginia does not recognize that exclusion as protection against an insurer.
So, now I'm between the proverbial rock and a hard place. Hagerty will not provide liability for it in Virginia and NCRS will not register the car without it. It seems, as usual, I am the first person from Virginia to be in this situation with NCRS.
So, does anyone have any suggestions on where I go from here??
Thanks,
Bob
