Question on this hole in the toe kick area on my 69

Guys,

Can someone tell me if a J-strap to hold the standard speedo cable is supposed to go in this spot where only a hole exists currently on my 69 coupe 4spd car? Looking at the AIM that's all I can figure would go here. See attached pics and thanks.

Interesting. Thanks Joe. If you see my previous post on routing of the reverse harness, I was looking for some direction on the discrepancy between the AIM and the JG on this topic. The JG says there is clip on the tranny near the interlock shift cable bracket that the reverse harness goes through, but the AIM says nothing on this. I see in your pic you have the clip that is missing from my car and that your reverse wire harness runs through it, as the AIM says. Can you tell me what the source of that photo is? If its your one owner Sept build car I think I have my answer.

Same clip on my last week of production (Dec 15) 69 L46 convertible. Best picture I could get laying on the ground, sticking the camera under the car and shooting pictures until I found it.

Yes, the photo is of my car. By the way, the clip, GM #3937606, was never available in SERVICE.
