Rubber gasket placement - windshield washer nozzle (59)

This may be a dumb question...but I'm in the process of installing my washer nozzles on my 59. When I look at the diagram, it looks like the rubber washer is under the body (versus underneath the nozzle as it sits on the body).

Can someone tell me the correct placement of the rubber washer?

I want to automatically place it directly under the nozzle because it seems to make more sense versus under under the body as the diagram shows.


Any help is appreciated.

Directly under the nozzle and on top of the paint is where the gasket is located.

Thanks Mike. That sounds a lot better than under the body. Not sure if you saw the diagram I posted earlier but that picture seems a little deceiving.
