    66 ac fan switch

    Hello, can someone help with this problem for my 66 Ac vette?
    When the fan is in the off position and the ac knob is pulled, the ac is suppose to turn the fan on low speed, mine goes to high speed, when I turn on the fan, I get low, medium and high. I have a reproduction switch.

    Paul;
    I can't help with your exact situation as I don't have a wiring diagram for you car.
    Many GM cars of the era had similar wiring.
    It helps to know there are typically two 12V feeds for this circuit.
    One for high speed only and the another for the slower speeds.

    Trouble shooting electrical circuits over the internet is an art for sure.
    The background of everything that has been worked on helps.
    Did it work correctly before the switch was replaced?
    Cheers.
    Rick

      this vette was not a running car, so i don't know if the original switch worked or not, the switch did not test out very well, so I purchased a new one
