Dave, Perhaps this time the photos will be there. I have made numerous attempts, including a help desk ticket, and have had no luck with uploading the photos.

Dave, thank you for uploading my photos. It appears you have had success in getting this task done. I hope the 3 photos of my original wheel weights from my 92 will be a help in this thread. Thanks again, John

            Pat,

Were the self-adhesive weights on the rear wheels, front wheels or both front and rear?

                Re: C4 Wheel Weights

I received the attached 2 photos this morning from a friend who is the original owner of a 1996 Grand Sport convertible. All four wheels have the same style weights as shown in the photos. The car has 1283 miles on it. The build date was 01/96. My friend took delivery from Bozarth Chevrolet. The car had 15 miles on it at delivery.

                    Re: C4 Wheel Weights

Old thread, I know. Do the wheel weights need to have the "P" on them to pass judging? Are there any variations of the correct weights without the "P" or have other symbols or just no symbol at all? 95 LT1 prod 11/94

                      Re: C4 Wheel Weights

Chris, I have seen the grey plastic coated weights with the P, without the P and also different letters. What this all means I don't know. Just to make matters more confusing I am attaching a photo of the wheel weights that were on a extremely low 1995 and presented by the original owner who has participated in NCRS Judging for a long time concerning the C4's. I have seen this type of weight on other original C4's. Some have the inscription PAW.

I know that this does not give you a final answer, but it is the best I can unofficially offer.

                        Re: C4 Wheel Weights

Thanks Pat! The "p" stands for lead weights, which are made for steel wheels to my understanding which is confusing as well.

                          Re: C4 Wheel Weights

I am still researching this wheel weight issue, would it ever be TFP to put TWO weights on a single lip such as a 1.0oz then a .5 oz to make a total of 1.5oz of weight on same lip or would it always be one weight of 1.5 oz (or 2.0oz 2.5 etc)?
