Is there a vendor selling and/or making reproduction trim rings that are visually correct and suitable for a driver car? This car will not be judged but the desire is that the look of the ring when attached be mostly correct. Seems that most vendors intentionally limit the information they provide so as to avoid addressing the fact that their trim rings are such poor reproductions.

Any reason not to get some nice used originals?
They seem to be readily available. Usually at Bloomington we can't hardly give them away.Vice-Chairman (West), Michigan Chapter NCRS

Re: Reproduction Trim Rings (post 72 style)
Patrick,
No reason other than not having seen any that don't require work. I have a couple that I picked up at a swap meet but they also need some work. The goal with this car is to get it driving (hasn't run in 14 years) with minimal effort. And, frankly, I've grown weary of constantly searching for NOS, original used, and correct parts for my Top Flight car. Perhaps I've gotten lazy.- Top
