62 Side fender cove molding

I know this piece is aluminum but is it polished or chrome plated? I want to polish them.

I believe you will find them to be anodized aluminum.

Perhaps I am misundersanding the part description, but didn't the "side fender cove molding" end with the 1961 models?

It is polished and then anodized to keep it shiney.

It began and ended with 1962. Reference is to the single multi-finned molding in the cove on each side on a 62.
