C2 Convertible - Convertible Door Alignment Block shims installed - Thumbs up!

A couple of weeks ago I installed the shims - parts of the door alignment block. One per door. What a difference - considerable less rattle and movements of the door gaps when driving over a bump etc..
As far as I have read they were already available during assembly but only few were actually installed. So if not installed afterwards quite a lot convertibles might miss them and, perhaps, rattle. Cheap fix.

Oliver, are you referring to the small metal wedges on the door?

Yes. I added the shims to the wedges to reduce the gap to their plastic counter parts on the body.
