    Cincinnati 03 Test Judging experience

First off, a big thumbs up to the hosting Ohio Chapter for an outstanding event and venue. From 53's to 03's and everything in between. Add in the swap and car show, this was a good one. A real nice touch was the Judges bags instead of a T Shirt. Very nice.
I especially want to make mention of the C-5 team that took time to work with me through the process and go out of there way to try and understand several subtle differences between an early Canadian model vs the US builds. A fellow entrant asked me if I had a Pen and Flashlight as Glove box items. A WHAT! "It's with your Owners Manual". I slightly remember them being in the storage compartment in the trunk when I took delivery from the dealer last time I seen them. That was August 2002. Good timely find along with the missing License Plate frame, front plate mount, CD disc holder, some warning tags and saved plastic off the seats and steering wheel. The original AGM Battery was displayed along with suspension pucks that made interesting topics for Pete's Judging session. Only bummer was driving home in the rain for its first Highway bath. Again, thanks Allan, Pete and Shannon for allowing Pat and I to be part of this very special event.

One of the 2003s was next to my 82 CE during the outdoor portion (Ops check).
I'm not sure whose, but I could tell that the judges were quite comprehensive, and helpful to the owner.

I believe that was me. I was last due having to Ops check the red 62. Your right, Ed and Glorie were very thorough and Ed helped me with items I have never tested or used. Was wonderful to see everything worked as it's supposed to despite having been in storage most of its life.

          Hi Jim,
Greenville for sure. Maybe there's a Grammas around there somewhere and we can do a lunch again. Take care in the meantime and Happy Easter.
