I WANT TO TAKE A MINUTE TO THANK THE NCRS QUEEN CITY CHAPTER PRESIDENT TOM JAMES AND HIS WIFE TERRIE FOR THE FANTASTIC EFFORT THEY PUT INTO THE VERY SUCCESSFUL REGIONAL JUDGING MEET WHICH CONCLUDED LAST EVENING.
Thier effort's along with many chapter members, national and local judges, car owners and other volunteers resulted in a GREAT EVENT.
Many others contributed to the success of this event but there are to many to name.
Thanks again to ALL!!

ALSO, It was wonderful meeting many of the Judges and Members from other states.

Thanks Michael we had alot of fun doing a Regional but the volunteers really were the stars, we had so many we did not have enough jobs for them all to do says alot about our members!!!!!!

Tom I did notice you had a lot of great volunteers they were SUPER. That sure makes it easier to put on a fantastic event.

Queen City Regional.

Terry Duesterman, I guess I forgot to tell you we needed help for our Regional, but not to worry.
We had extra volunteers, gave each one a shirt and lunch each day.
If you run the event properly the People getting their cars judged and the sponsors cover the expenses, NOT THE VOLUNTEERS..

With respect for your long membership in the club, that comment is asinine. Note that I am referring to the comment, not you.
I'm relatively new to the club, so might very well be mistaken, but I believe from what I have seen and heard from members of the BoD that the goal of all the Regionals and each National Convention is to support the hobby. I don't believe that the National club seeks to profit by even one penny from any National or Regional meet. Not meaning to take this thread far afield as it is a tribute thread to the Queen City group for putting on a stellar meet. Let's stay focused on that topic please.

Went by your car many times over the weekend and wanted to compliment you on a fine job. Car turned out fabulous. It's came along way since our chat at 1st Lakeland show. Nice presentation.

Before you call someone out get your facts straight. If you don't think the the National is to make money then you have not done your research. How do you suppose we got almost a million dollars in assets? The regional in Cincy is a perfect example of how an event should be run. The volunteers were provided free lunches, a t-shirt and a parking area, there was even special parking for Corvettes only that came to the event. Compare that to a National ( $160 to VOLUNTEER, no Corvette parking, no lunches etc.) and then tell me again my remark is asinine!

Please read the NCRS financials to understand how NCRS Conventions do - only one I can recall of in the last twenty years that made money was 2004 Windsor. All of the others work hard to just break even.
