1953 Selling price

Does anyone know the true sales price of a 1953 Corvette.

I know the answer is confusing because some of the options (heater and Radio) were standard, so I don't know if they had an advertised price and then a "loaded" price or if it was all inclusive.

I have searched the GM Heritage site without success, but some of you may be more computer savvy than I am, in fact I am sure that is true.

According to the Corvette Black Book the base 1953 Corvette listed for $3,498, the heater was an additional $91.40 and the radio was an additional $145.15. The black Books shows all 300 cars had both options. The base price included Federal excise tax and a $248 delivery and handling charge

The requestor has those numbers. I was looking for some original source confirmation. I wondered if anyone had a sales brochure or other 1953 confirmation. A google search also brings up those numbers, so perhaps Mike Antonik has it right.

We have a virus running through the household and I am less than in top form so please Let me retry this question and see if I can make it clearer:

Did the base price of a 1953 include the cost of the heater and radio since they all had those options = $3498?

or was the $3498 without radio and heater and thus the price was = 3734.55 adding the mandatory options?
