    1966 convertible #1 top bow

Looking at the 1966 TIM & JG "1963 through early 1965 the No. 1 top bows were 3/8 round in section. 1965-1967 no. 1 top bows were 5/16 rectangular in section." My early 66 convertible has a round #1 bow. This is a November 2 1965 build date. Is it possible that this is an original top? anyone know of similar situations? While certainly possible this has been replaced by previous owners, if so it has been on a long time. Thanks!

Your car is an early 66 I think it is very unlikely that your car had the round bow from the factory. If you have the car judged they will take a deduct if the spot it.

Thank you Bob. I agree, it just seems strange as this car has many original parts and very few replacement parts. But someone must have replaced the top.
