56 57 Door Lock Control?

Pictured is a door lock control that I have labeled for a 56 or 57 Corvette. I notice from the parts vendors catalogs that there is a different door lock control for the 56/57, 58, 59/61 and 62. I also see that some vendors list the same door lock control for 56/57 and 63-66. According to my parts book the 56/57 door lock control is listed as part # 3735227 (LH) and # 3735228 (RH). I assume that the same control is used for both sides. Can someone please verify that this is the correct control for the 56/57; and can it also be used for the 63 to 66 models? Also, for my learning curve is there a picture of the four different versions used from 56 to 62? Thanks! Mark

I know that a significant part of the difference is the length of the shaft because of the changes in door panel thickness. Beyond that, ??

Mark, looks like my Nov '56 built car lock controls. AIM shows p/n 3723507, Control Assy, only one p/n so indicates same for both L & R. Shaft length is approx 0.855 from mounting face to end of shaft. Hope this provides some helpful info.
