63 Hartop Guide Pins

I have a pair of 63 Corvette with hardtop guide pins with part numbers 3829303 and 3829304 on the back of them. My parts book lists them for a 63 Corvette; however, are they correct for the other mid-year hardtops?

Well by 1971 they were listed as 3863875/6 for all C2 years, 63-67.
Do not know why the pn change, possible change in 63 hard top? The new pn should work
on the early hard top.

GM #3829303 and 3829304 were the guidepins used for 1963-64 Corvettes with hardtop. For the 1965 model year thru 1967, these pins changed to GM #3863875 and 3863876. The latter pins were also SERVICE for 1963-64 after December, 1964. How the two sets of pins differed, I do not know. Certainly, the latter set is backward compatible (because GM says they are). Whether the 63-64 set is forward compatible (i.e. usable for 65-67), I do not know but I would suspect they are.
