'63 Seat Belts Restored by Charlie Santorelli Update

In an earlier post, I attached photos of my original seat belts that were in dire need of restoring or replacing. I took the advice of fellow NCRS members and sent them to Charlie Santorelli AKA Seatbelt Sity. He cleaned them multiple times and replaced the buckle release "paddles" and tags. The results were excellent. Charlie is a pleasure to work with as well. Attached are the before and after photos.

There are a few vendors that continue to shine.
Charlie is one of them. My black belts on my 63 came from him.
Typically not the least expensive but something you can be proud of for years.

I swear more than 3/4 of the seat belts, on our favorite auction site, are not even correct for any 1963 more less a Corvette.

Excellent Fred! As I said in my reply in your other post, Charlie did the same for my red '64 seat belts and they were in the same shape or worse than yours. He never disappoints, bet your glad you went with Charlie to do your belts.

Yep. He said the dark red ones are difficult to find and that a mint original complete set would be very expensive.
