I have a 1993 with six speed. It has 41,000 original miles. My brother in law purchased it new. I got it last June and drove it twice a month with no issues. Two weeks ago after driving 15 minutes it suddenly died. After 15 minutes it started and I drove it home without any issue. The next weekend the same thing happened. When I got home I turned it off. 20 minutes later I tried starting it and it start and die within 3 seconds. Towed it to a Corvette specialist. No codes. ICM is fine. Fuel pressure at 41. All known grounds checked and cleaned. All injectors pulsing. It started and ran fine for 15 minutes and died. No codes. Any suggestions or anyone else have this happened to?

Re: Stalling
One sign of a leaking water pump is a side-to-side coolant "line" across your hood. Line will be just above serpentine belt. Formed as coolant is castoff spinning belt.

The coil bolts to the heat sink and changing it at the same time is efficient. I have also found the wire from the coil to the distributor can be an issue. That is worth changing while you are there.Terry- Top
