Re: 1966 carpet judging
I lost 3 points on my 66 coupe at the Altoona Regional. Mine was Al Knoch, but I suspect ACC will probable get the same deduct. I've been told by folks who know that none of the current carpets will get by with no deduct.Don Harris

Re: 1966 carpet judging
Several owners who have taken their '66s thru the judging process have told me for years now that there is no correct repro carpet. But those of us needing black are at least lucky to have the color more or less correct with a repro carpet.

Re: 1966 carpet judging
I lost 3 points at the Arizona Regional in 2018 as well. The judges stated the "Loop too large, not typical production." Along with the heel pad and switch grommet were not typical production as well. Good luck on that one.- Top

Re: 1966 carpet judging
Jaime,
Is a standard deduction table for carpet something new? In my edition of the Judging Reference Manual, there is no standard deduction for carpet, like there is for glass, tires, batteries, headlamps, exhaust, etc.
