    Vent & Door scratch removal

Searching for a professional to remove some light scratches from my original vent and door glass. I would prefer someone local to the Indianapolis metropolitan area. I guess the other option would be to take a deduction for condition. Any thoughts on that or leads for glass restoration are appreciated. Thanks

    Joe,

I had amazing results with Superglass.com. See

Superglass is a national company that specializes in glass repair. They do not sell or install glass. They assign territories to independent franchisees, who they train.

That's my recommendation, always. I've tried the cerium oxide kits and had some success but is it really work all the work and mess for $100-$150 ? And the chance of creating distortion or overheating your glass ?

            Superglass, not superclass.
            Corrected my original post.

This looks interesting. Have any of you had experience with Superglass' process being used to polish windshields, in order to remove the tiny 'specks' that appear over time?

I'd never heard of this business before, but as it turns out, they have a location very near me. Can anyone comment on their windshield polishing?

I started the whole Superglass thing in the other thread because I had used them to have some minor pits removed along with a windshield wiper scratch on the driver's side. So yes, I have experience....and the results were superb - but, you have to be realistic, if you have serious rock chips then they are prob beyond polishing. The company wil come out and give you an assessment of what they can, and can't, do..
