America's Finest Corvette - Reproduction Shocks - C3 - Looking For Feedback

Looking for feedback on the Reproduction Shocks that this company is now offering for C3s. Although I'd like them to be true to the originals in appearance but I'm more interested in how them perform for normal driving. Is there any noticeable difference between those and what GM offers now (apparently gas filled)? I've read one post about these for a '67 and it didn't sound too great in terms of customer service.

I want the car to handle and perform as was designed, no better but certainly no worse as my car has the standard suspension. At $ 700.00 for the set, I want to get some serious first hand feedback before I put my money down.

I never got the rear shocks from him still waiting . I talked to 3 other people who never got the rears . One guy has waited almost 2 years.Plus they are reproduction . If they are like the Camaro reproduction shocks they leak and the bottom mount breaks off of the fronts.Once he gets your money that will be last time he will answer the phone until you your ask NCRS to step in like i did.So if they fail you out.

That's the feedback I'm looking for. The more I read, this seems to be a common problem of no response once payment is sent but as well, the technical failure. Something I don't want when I'm $275.00 per shock for a car I seldom use. I'm going to hold on this until I see better reviews.

Ordered front HD shocks for FE7 suspension. Had to repaint because they were shipped before the paint cured. He did date stamp them as requested. Refunded some money for repaint. At least I received. Wouldn't do it again.
