Hey Guys,
Sure could use some help from all 1966 L-36 owners that feel their engine intake bolts are factory originals.
Just had a discussion with fellow '66 427 owners about production intake bolts. The L-72 425HP owners feel that flanged lip recessed hex bolts are correct for their aluminum intakes. Typically "FP", "A", or "C" head marks. Maybe others?
Is this also the correct application for the L-36 390 intake bolts? Or do the cast iron L-36 intakes use flat hex head bolts?
Please respond to this thread if you feel your intake and bolts are original to your L-36 '66. Photos would be excellent!
Thanks,
Mike
