I am interested in a numbers matching 1968 L-79 Roadster w/air & P/S, and am confused by the engine suffix for this engine. The code on the block is "HP". Some sources state that this is the 350 HP engine, while other sites show it as a 300 HP engine. Which is correct?

According to the current JRM, "HP" is a 350 HP 327 with manual, PS, & AC. Don H.

My "Chevrolet By The Numbers: 1965-1969" book by Alan L. Colvin confirms this also. 1968 Engine Code Suffix HP -> 327 CID, 350HP, Manual, Rochester 4-BBL, A/C. P/S.

My 1968 L-79, M-20, C-60, N-40 Coupe shows HP.
