Correct mounting of the 69 pedal assembly

    Guys,

I'm installing the pedal assembly of my 69 coupe non-AC car and have a question of how the pedal assembly is mounted. I see in the AIM and the vendors catalogues that it appears to only mount to the firewall with locking nuts that attach to the PB booster. If you look at the pedal assembly however, there are four mounted nuts at the rear of the assembly that correspond to four holes in the "pocket" that the pedal assembly sits, but I can't find any reference to bolts for this and I can't see how they could possibly be accessed anyway. Please see the attached pics and thanks for any help.

A two bolt configuration on the firewall was used for the non-power brake applications. The booster on P/B uses four bolts. It has been years since I was there with my restoration but as I recall there was a clip on two of the holes on the non-power brake units that held a loose nut on the interior side and the M/Cyl was bolted from the engine side. A booster car has 4 studs with nuts installed from the interior side.

Perhaps there is a mounting difference between power brakes and non power brake cars?
