    C-3 weatherstrip

Wondering who would have the best fitting and correct weatherstrip kit for a 1968 convertable ??

The short answer is that none of them are perfect.

AFAIK only 2 companies make weatherstrip, Metro Moulded or Corvette Rubber. Catalog dealers sell one or the other or occasionally both.
I think that Corvette Rubber "may" be a bit more correct. MM tends to be softer and thicker than original.
However, neither company has the exact correct fit and material, in my experience, for an early C3.

Dr. Rebuild has identified the best and most correct manufacturer for each piece of weatherstrip and sells those. So, if you get them from him, the work of determining the best manufacturer for each piece has already been done.

I believe that Corvette Rubber and Missaukee Molded are the same company.

Is it still best to search out and find NOS Latex covered foam weatherstripping?

Realize that it will be old weatherstripping, even if in the box. Not that what is on our cars isn't old, but you may find it brittle.
