Carpet underlayment

Does anyone make a jute/rubber underlayment like the 1967 original? What kind of underlayment have you found success with for a C2? Heat is not an issue since I am working on a side pipe car.

Are OC Carpet and Auto Custom Carpet the same company? The OC Carpet web site is ambiguous.

I used the Al Knoch carpet and underlayment. The fit was good. The underlayment was jute glued to a rubberized upper layer. I think it's pretty close to the original, but I'm no expert. I seem to recall that he claimed it was like original.

Corvette America says on their website that what they sell is "

Exactly like original, jute padding backed with rubber". I don't know if they make their own, or maybe they sell ACC.

On originality, it should be identical in appearance, or is it you do not have the original to compare to? I just pulled a nice set out of a coupe, but don't have these repo stuff to compare to nor is a foto likely to confirm, you'd need to see it side by side.
