The center brace that comes out from the cross member connects to the front bumper end. It is secured with 2 bolts with a spacer inside the center brace channel. How do you get the spacer in there???--especially the most forward spacer. Also is it easiest to install the center brace to the bumper end first and then connect the whole system to the cross member? Just looking for ideas.

The small metal cylinders that go in the crossmember brace can be a pain; especially if someone tightened the braces to the point the channel is deformed. I've had to remove the brace and open the channel up to accommodate the spacer and I have ground a spacer or two to get them installed. Basically try to hold the spacer in position as you start the bolt through..sometimes aligning the spacer with the brace holes with a beefy screwdriver through the holes first helps.- Top
