Help with tire code

This is supposedly an original Firestone white stripe wide oval tire believed to be a take off from a 69.
"002LL000". It is my understanding that the last three digits during this time period reflects the week and year made. Which works well with the other 4 tires. This is the 5th tire in the set. However, this would mean that it was produced in the "00" week of 1970?
Dosen't quite make since for this tire to me. What am I missing? thx

Your understanding, Russ, about the code at the end of the string; is for Spring of 1971 and later (or newer if you will) tires.

We do not have codes for Firestone tires produced earlier than Spring of 1971. The search is still on, but as each year goes by the chances of finding those Firestone codes grows dimmer and dimmer.
