67 alternator diodes

Need to know the correct positive and negative diode part numbers for 37 Amp 67 alternator . Are they same as 42 amp? What's the best source ? Appreciate any assistance !

These are the same for 37, 42, and 55 amp alternators.

Just so you don't get the wrong idea, both of these are long-since GM discontinued. You can still get diodes from Standard Motor Products but, while completely functional, they will not be configured like the originals.

so WHO has the properly dated diodes? Isn't that what John Pirkle used to do?

Our number 1 NCRS member used to do the numbered and dated diodes for the Alternator. Not sure he wants to do them anymore. That would be Gary Mortimer just in case anyone forgot!

I did my own rebuild and stamped the diodes. I don't really know how correct and accurate the stamping was, but I took the car through Chapter and Regional and didn't get any deducts.

Here's some pictures. Also, for those with sharp eyes, I did end up replacing the rear bearing with a Torrington bearing and the capacitor with a correct original.
