This question is for any C-1 judge. I would like to know if it is all right to use pop-rivets to install new body mount reinforcement plates. Since this area is closed in and can not get to the back side of the plate in the rocker panel area to support the back of the original style rivet to hammer the rivet in solid. Or will I have to cut holes in the rocker panel area to use the proper rivets. This question also applies to any other area on the car where there is no access to the back side of plates that have to be replaced with the original style rivets.
