1969 Carpet, Mastic, Jute

Recently, I purchased a 13 piece mastic pad with jute padding set from Auto Custom Carpet. Some time ago I also purchased a new carpeting set from them that also had jute padding attached underneath.

My question is about the jute padding. Should the jute padding attached to the carpet be removed now that I also have jute padding attached to the mastic ("rubber roofing" ish) pads?

So, from top to bottom, should my installation be: carpet (without jute padding?), mastic padding, jute padding ?

Auto Custom Carpet was of little help, had very little instructions in the box, and my original carpeting has been gone since 1977.

Just received the mastic (rubber-roofing ish) with pad (jute) attached from ACC carpet. Did a test-fit and it looks like some cutting, shaping, and fitting is going to be needed. Looks difficult. Any help in this regard will be much appreciated.
