1960 Corvette Wheels and Spare tire question

In 1960 the rims were painted the body paint color. Would the spare wheel rim also be painted or would the spare tire rim be black. Also, if the car was ordered with white wall tires, would the spare match or would the spare remain as the standard black wall tires?

Paul, all 5 wheels were painted the same color and all 5 tires were either whitewall or blackwall. Steve

Paul - you should double check, but it is my understanding the outside is body color & inside of the wheel is black. Specific info is in the Judging Guide.

Correct Daniel. My original wheels had a little red overspray on the black backside.
