I came across a Harrison radiator tag part number 3133689 with a 58B date code. My judging guide says the part number should be 3141674. Also found a chart showing 3133689 was 55-57 corvettes. Could it have carried over to 58? Any thoughts would be appreciated. Howard Hiller

Re: 58 radiator tag
I'd say no. The April 1960 parts manual only lists the 689 for '55 V8, '56 and '57. No notes of it being carried over. It shows the 3141674 for all '58 to '60 except for the '60 with high lift cam (aluminum). The judging manual says that very early '58s might have used a part number 3139588 radiator but that was not a '57 part. Your radiator tag is dated 58B which is Feb 1958. It must be a service replacement for the '55 V8, '56/'57 model bought through the Chevy parts dept. sometime after Feb 1958.
By the way, the '58-'60 674 part number radiators show to be stamped 3140938.
