67 Tri Power Air Cleaner, original/ repo differences?

Need an air cleaner for my 67/400hp. Has anyone done a comparison between the original and repos? I am trying to buy an original, and see a lot of repos. In the judging guide I see the screen , wing nut hole and silk screening, just thinking about other differences I might be missing.

William, be aware of the type of chrome - original is a duller, cloudy finish called Flash Chrome. Modern chrome is brighter and clearer. More of a show finish. I've seen reproduction lids where the outer lip of the unit is thicker than originals. Modern silk screens tend to have a pixelated font as if it is done with a modern machine.

The weight is different too between the two (repro and original). The silk screening is chunky and blotchy on originals and i call it exacto knife cut with the repro silk screening. The gap between the outer lip and the the lid is wider on repros than originals too IMO. ARA
