67 antenna mast ball

Was there any variation in the size of the ball on the 67 antenna mast? I have what appears to be an original mast but the ball is 19/64 ths. The typical size is .30 or 5/16ths. The length of the mast, end to end is 31". Thanks

Post a pic of the base and the threads. That may help discern originality. The bases are unique to originals. Also, does the ball appear to have "aged" in unison with the mast? I have seen some shiny, new chrome "correct" sized balls on the masts of faded/patina'd masts before. Just sayin.....

Stan, I believe the ball size is .25, your mast appears to be original.
