    C1 SJ4653 Scissor Jack

If the threaded block at the end opposite of the bearing is stripped, what steps would be required to re-tap it? Would the rivets have to be drilled out?

If the thread is truly "stripped," would you trust any repair to be weight bearing?

I would never use it to lift a car, stripped or not.
