    1970 mirror gasket

Does anyone have a picture of an original outside mirror gasket?
Also, Does it have a part number on it?
    Thanks, Rick

From a '72; should be the same as a '70. Shown with a reproduction.

      Leonard and Rick------

The gasket marked 461133 is not a reproduction, per se. This was the GM replacement part number for the original GM #3914599 gasket. The GM #461133 gasket was also used in PRODUCTION for 1977-79 Corvettes with standard outside mirrors. These mirrors had the same base and used the same attachment bracket as PRODUCTION 1968-76 outside mirrors.

If the 461133 gasket pictured actually is a reproduction, then it's either a non-licensed GM reproduction illegally including the GM part number or a licensed reproduction produced under the GM Restoration Parts program.

Joe, That 461133 came from Paragon so it would be a licensed reproduction.

...or, from an inventory of the GM part that they obtained prior to its discontinuation.

The thing I can't figure out is why they would reproduce the 461133 when it's only actually correct for a few model years. It would have been better if they had reproduced the 3914599.

            Leonard,
            Thanks for the pictures.
            They were a big help.

            Joe,
Thanks for your input as well.
