After some time I determined what switches go where. I found out that the switches on my car are in all the wrong places.
I've purchased all new, correct configuration switches (have sx), and terminals.
My dilemma is that, in all my years, I've never learned or seen the correct way of installing them on a car. I'm ok with crimping on new terminals and plugging them into the switches. Do you plug in the terminals after the switches are placed on the body (appears to be a hard, blind reach)? My main concern is with installing the switches on the body. My fear is collapsing the switch, or damaging the door when the door is fully closed after the switches are installed. Do you install them as far as they will screw into the body, then start backing them out until they're in the correct position to light the appropriate lamp? Or, what is the best way to install them.?
Thanks in advance.
