Question on 1959 spare tire well

I know that the back edge of the spare tire tray is secured with J-nuts and self-tapping phillips head screws but what is used on the other 8 holes toward the front? Do those same type of screws tap into the mating fiberglass or is there some type of nut below? (see photo). thanks, jim o.

I think all the screws were tapped into the fiberglass, no J nuts were used at all.

Agree. Page L17 of the 1960 AIM shows screw #273446 which I believe is a cad plated #10 phillips head screw.
