I believe negative feedbacks go away after awhile. And if you follow Corvette parts on E-Bay this is not the first time they have done that. I'm sure she is a busy person and can't watch everything.

        Maybe. Maybe not.

I tend to agree - I've bought later C1 wiper transmissions, a '61 dash clock and a '61 parking brake warning switch from her over the years.
Never a problem and fairly priced. I don't feel this deal is typical....I don't have a reason for the wording in the ad though...

She listed it as an original Corvette jack. False advertising, plain and simple.

She does it all the time. Buyer beware.

After buying from her twice, I ordered some hardtop lower outer moldings. I was VERY specific over the phone in asking about the condition of the retainers and threaded studs. When they arrived, they were rusty with studs missing. When I called and very calmly let her know I was sending them back and why, she absolutely ripped into me. I would go without a part than ever buy from her again. And I have been around long enough that I used to deal with her Dad, who was a real gentleman and honest guy.

                      Bob,

The jack in that pic was the one from the eBay ad in the original post, i.e. and the topic of conversation/controversy.

I have no experience with this vendor, but I recall it wasn't that long ago that a C1 steering wheel sale of hers was also misrepresented. If I recall correctly, the vendor "made it right" after it was called to her attention for what that is worth.

She quit coming to the local swap meet (one of the largest on the west coast) many years ago. The items she had for sale varied between okay and complete junk. Her knowledge of parts is non-existent and typical of someone in the hobby just to make a buck.
