No. 1973 was the first year for full hood insulation.

Some 68 and/or 69 big blocks have insulation under the forward third of the hood.

Some 68 and/or 69 big blocks have insulation under the forward third of the hood.

Some small blocks also had this insulation. My Oct '68 car has it.
