    70 Passenger Side Inner Fender

I'm cleaning up inner fenders and drip rail on my 'ole '70. The passenger side inner fender has a gob of bonding adhesive under the drip rail. Is the factory correct or the work of Bubba?

    Thanks in advance.

Hard to say; could be either. I've seen worse from obstensively undamaged cars.

Look for other clues of repairs:. Grinder marks along the surround and fender where it bonds to the inner fender; missing/damaged/dislodged inner fender seals; damaged or poorly repaired drip rail (yours looks cracked).

The inner fender looks like it was poorly repainted more than once, but that doesn't mean a panel was replaced.
