1968 BB Valve Cover Grommet

1968 A.I.M. call for 3933188 grommet for the air cleaner hose and tube. Was this number changed in production? If so what replaced it. Been looking for one for a while but they're hard to find.

I feel your pain. I bought the last 3 Doc Rebuild had a few years ago. I just installed the last one. They take a beating when removing the air cleaner base. I’m talking about the one on the left (driver) side valve cover. Other vendors say they have them, but they don’t and they are not the same as 67.

Have you tried the Doctor? He may not even be doing business anymore although his website is active.
EDIT: I don’t see them on Doc’s website.

I'm not surprised they are hard to find. The GM #3933188 was discontinued in December, 1971. 47 years is a long time for the once-extant supply to dry up.
