Does anyone have any pictures of the mid year coupe door weatherstrip cuts on the bottom of the doors? Looking on how they were cut originally. Thanks

Re: Mid Year Coupe Door Weatherstrip Cuts
Gary, if you give me a few hours I will get you a few pics of what I believe to be original w/s on my '64. I know that there is a cut at the bottom center of the coupe door, but it's been a while since I looked at them.Garry Barnes #18531

Re: Mid Year Coupe Door Weatherstrip Cuts
Gary, the first photo is of the passenger side door w/s. This cut is located at the bottom and is centered. The next three photos are from the drivers side. The first is a cut made right of center about a foot from the center cut. The next photo is of the center cut on the drivers door and the last photo is a cut located about equidistance from the center as the one on the right side. These are from a '64 coupe that was repainted in 1976 and clearly shows (overspray) that they did not remove the seals that were on there. I can't swear that these are original, but can say it is a two owner car with the original shocks and floor mats. Last owner for 45 years and only 2,300 miles logged in the last 35 years. Total mileage is 77K. I am interested in others opinions as well as helping you determine the right cuts for your w/s.
All photos need to be rotated one notch to the right. Not sure why all of my photos load incorrectly, but that's for another day.Garry Barnes #18531
