    67 heater delete info needed

just purchased a 67 coupe and noticed there are no wires - plugs for the radio or heater switch. they were NOT cut off.
closer examination revealed no wires in fuse box and no orange heater motor wire in firewall connector. after talking to local "experts" we got different stories as to the make-up of a heater delete wiring harness. being only 35 67 delete cars produced many experts never saw or worked on one. we've been told all 67 under dash wiring harness are the same, so did the factory remove unnecessary wires? if you have or worked on a delete car any info would be greatly appreciated

I have no experience with a heater delete car. However, I can tell you this much: there was no special wiring harness for such cars. I HIGHLY doubt that the factory assembly workers would have removed the heater-associated wires from the harness. To do so would have been labor-intensive and utterly impractical for no benefit, whatsoever. I'm certain they would have either cut them off or, more likely, just left them free and unconnected.

Whether the car was an original heater delete car should be quite easy to determine without reference to the wiring harness.

I can tell you for sure no radio option cars still had the wire connector for radio. Oddly enough the fuse was installed in fuse block even though there was no radio.
