Early 1965 Voltage Regulator Ground Attachemnt

My early 1965 350 HP No A/C car. I started this morning looking for a loose ground. This car is a twice Top Flite car. Last top flite completed last October.
I found a loose ground on the voltage regulator and now question on how it should be attached.
I have the newest JG showing the horn relay and regulator in a photo. Their physical placement is different than my car. That said, there is the ground jumper between the horn relay and the voltage reg.

The question is: Where should the Main harness Ground wire (Black 12) that routes by these 2 items attach??

Years ago I apparently attached this ground wire under the head of the screw that holds the volt reg. to the fender using the rubber insert in this fender to retain.
The assembly guide just shows a ground attachment to the base of the voltage Regulator. I don't see where this main ground attaches.
    Thank You

There s/b a hole in the regulator base (along the side) to thread the screw in for the ground wire. There is a short lead that bridges the regulator and horn relay. Early 65 being mounted to the core support.
